Pimpono Ensemble
Pimpono Ensemble is a large band established in 2014 in Copenhagen led by drummer/composer Szymon Gąsiorek.

The music of the band combines punk rock energy, free improvisation freedom, curiosity of experiment, beautiful nostalgic melodies and noise within the sound of jazz orchestra.
In the compositions of Szymon Gąsiorek, avant-garde meets pop culture with an energy that conveys the substance full of youthful idealism, non-conformism and dreams.

In November 2016 the band released their well-received debut album ‘HOPE LOVE PEACE FAITH’.

Their new album ‘SURVIVAL KIT’ will be released on 25th of January 2020 and performed live at Chrisianshavns Beboerhus for this album launch event !

Tobias Pfeil
Tobias Pfeil is a Norwegian composer and multi-instrumentalist, currently studying composition in Bern under famous danish composer Simon Steen-Andersen.
He is known for his rich and varied works which range from sound installations, to genre-defying improvisations, to compositions for video and stage.

Tobias has performed/collaborated with Tuvaband, Natalie Sandtorv, Kresten Osgood, Søren Kjærgaard, Hanne Boel, Nils-Petter Molvær, Pimpono Ensemble, The Norwegian Theater and Thurston Moore.
He is also known as his artpop-alter-ego Tobi Duchampe.
For this concert we can expect a variety of different sonic material fused into an original musical performance.
