Gaza Surf Club – Gratis filmvisning i samarbejde med Palestine Cinema Days ’23

Kom forbi vores biograf til en gratis visning af dokumentaren Gaza Surf Club fra 2016 af Philip Gnadt og Mickey Yamine.

Filmen vises i samarbejde med Filmlab Palestine og Palestine Cinema Days som blev nødt til at aflyse deres årlige store filmfestival i Ramallah. Derfor viser vi sammen med 90 andre steder i verden film fra eller om Gaza, i samarbejde med Palestine Cinema Days og Aflamuna.

Filmen varer 87 minutter og der er er omkring 25-30 pladser i vores biograf.

Om Filmen: Fanget i “verdens største åbne fængsel” og styret af krig, bliver en ny generation draget mod strandene. Trætte af besættelse og en politisk fastlåst situation finder de deres egen frihed i bølgerne i Middelhavet. De er Gaza’s surfere.

Come by our cinema for a free screening of the 2016 documentary ‘Gaza Surf Club’ by Philip Gnadt and Mickey Yamine.

The film is being shown in collaboration with Filmlab Palestine and Palestine Cinema Days, which had to cancel their annual film festival in Ramallah. For that reason we are screening films from or about Gaza along with 90 other locations worldwide, in partnership with Palestine Cinema Days and Aflamuna.

About the movie: Trapped in “the world’s largest open-air prison” and ruled by war, a new generation is drawn to the beaches. Sick of occupation and political gridlock, they find their own personal freedom in the waves of the Mediterranean. They are the surfers of Gaza.

The film is 87 minutes long and there are approximately 25-30 seats available in our cinema.
