Yngel & Greta Eacott

To celebrate the release of their new joint album ‘ALUN/STUCK’, Greta Eacott & Yngel will do a special joint performance, in an intimate and ‘texturally heightened’ environment upstairs at Christianshavns Beboerhus. Expect sand, rocks, foil, marimba and guitars!

Line-up:
Greta Eacott – marimba, foil, bass drum, percussion
Yngel – guitars, rocks

About:
One Take Records is proud to present this new double A-SIDE vinyl release of two original instrumental works; ALUN by the guitar duo Yngel, and STUCK by the percussionist/composer Greta Eacott.
Both pieces were written for and recorded at the monumentally reverberant, 34 metres tall Brønshøj Water Tower in Copenhagen, Denmark. Brønshøj Water Tower is no longer a part of Copenhagen’s water supply, but it is now one of the most unique acoustic spaces in the city, as it yields a reverberation time which lasts up to 40 seconds.
